According to NBA playoff rules, the 8th and 9th ranked teams in the West will have a fight for the tickets to a play-off. The 8th team only needs to win one match while the 9th place team needs 2 wins to continue. Two matches are scheduled to be held on August 15 and August 16 (if necessary).
